Voluntary Benefits

Voluntary Benefits is a term used to describe a variety of additional benefits offered to help you meet your personal needs. These benefits may be elected to give you additional peace of mind and to fill in the gaps between you copays or deductibles for example. We have worked hard to offer these benefits to all employees however they may not be available at all locations. If you are covered by a Collective Bargaining Agreement, you will continue to follow your Collective Bargaining Agreement.

Insurance ID cards are not issued for these plans.The group name is WireCo and the group policy number is 703311.

To file a claim, you will need to complete an online claim form at www.voya.com/claims.

Accident Insurance

Accidents are unexpected and the costs associated with treatment can add up quickly.  An injury as common as a fracture could result in emergency room treatment, an overnight hospital stay, possible surgery, and even physical therapy.  Most medical plans include deductibles and co-pays which could leave you financially responsible for a significant portion of the cost of care.  Accident insurance helps cover some of those costs.

Hospital Confinement Indemnity

Hospital Confinement Indemnity Insurance pays a daily benefit if you have a covered stay in a hospital*, critical care unit or rehabilitation facility. The benefit amount is determined based on the type of facility and the number of days you stay. You have the option to elect additional coverage Hospital Confinement Indemnity Insurance to meet your needs.

Critical Illness

If you experience a covered critical illness, this coverage provides you with a lump-sum payment. The payment is made directly to you and can be used in any way you see fit.  Covered Conditions include heart attack, cancer or stroke and more. The Wellness Benefit is a rider that is included with your Critical Illness Insurance coverage. It provides an annual benefit payment if you complete a health screening test, whether or not there is any out – of – pocket cost to you. You are eligible to receive one annual benefit, regardless of how many screening tests you may complete. You may also receiv e a benef it for your covered spouse and/or children if they complete a health screening test.
